As we wonder what will happen in the next ten years, one thing is for sure, art has changed the world. Being it in branding, logos, political posters, etc, if the Beast is the concept of ugliness itself, Beauty is killing it. Beauty comes from anywhere as a silent army. New tribes emerge from the already existing countries. These new-tribes have their own culture, sometimes even have their own slang, perhaps one day will have their own languages - hype has evolved their hairstyles, their clothes, their favorite time-period (middle-age, futuristic, etc.). Today in 2012, the word culture is so linked to the word "fashion", that in 2012, fashionistas dress as a Chinese emperor one day, and the next as a futuristic thug. Starting at the end of the 20th Century, we became a piece of art. Like someone who would bring light as a gift to Man, art is a true giver to mankind, because through art we have a chance to transform and/or progress our society, thru the hope that the inexistence will become existent. It is the inspirer of fashion, and ideals. As branding made cola cola cool, beauty has transformed geishas into international treasures - comes to mind one question: who will win the cultural war ? Beauty or hype ? Who will be the 'One' ? Today to honor someone who is a master of digital art, and who's one of the truly good guys, here is a portrait of Aseo - Snapshot of the year 2022.
